The stage is set for the Grenada Olympic Committee (GOC) Sports Personalities Awards 2022.
The Committee held a press conference on Tuesday giving details of its plans for staging the awards at Pier 57 in Grand Mal, St George, on January 28.
The Awards recognise the elite performers in Grenada’s sports; but were not held for the last two years because of the COVID-19 pandemic. This year’s event will be held under the distinguished patronage of Her Excellency Dame Cécile La Grenade.
The 16 federations affiliated with the GOC have each submitted nominations for consideration. Each male and female nominee has a profile highlighting his/her achievements during the calendar year.
